Encryption at rest

The Peppol Encryption add-on service enables encryption for all documents that you exchange with Peppol Network.

Documents exchanged between Access Points in the Peppol eDelivery network are always encrypted by design. However, the ‘first’ and ‘last’ mile in document exchange with Corner 1 and/or Corner 4 is normally not encrypted.

We are now introducing secure, easy and reliable encryption for documents that you send and receive.

When you send a business document to Peppol, you encrypt it with our public PGP key before uploading it to Tickstar. We will decrypt the file before your AP sends it off to the receiving Access Point (Corner3). The document will be encrypted with your AP certificate.

If your outbound document was encrypted, we will encrypt your receipt for that transaction using your public key.

Documents from Peppol, that your Access Point has received, will equally be encrypted by us – but now with your public PGP key before we forward them to you.
