What is PINT?

PINT (Peppol International Invoice) Billing is an advanced specification by OpenPeppol that’s designed to create globally interoperable invoice specifications. It is set to replace the existing BIS Billing 3.0 specification in several countries around the world.

Which countries are impacted by the transition to PINT and how?

Australia and New Zealand

For organisations using eInvoicing, the PINT specification will become mandatory on 15th November 2024.

From this date, the phasing out of BIS Billing 3.0 will begin, and BIS Billing 3.0 will no longer be supported from 15th May 2025.
